About
Susanne

Susanne, Founder, CEO and Principal Designer of her firm Susanne Fox Design, specializes in bringing sophisticated, artful luxury residential interior design to busy and accomplished New York City professionals, executives, and entrepreneurs through a full-service approach. Assembling a professionally curated team of exclusive industry partners for each project, Susanne’s clients appreciate her innate abilities serving as liaison, representative, trusted advisor and design advocate to her clients throughout the project’s process.

Recognized as a leader for the next generation of design, Susanne brings a thoughtful yet cutting edge approach to her projects. Susanne uses her keen understanding of how to unlock the potential of a property, elevating the space to its best value, and layers one-of-a-kind details to reflect the uniqueness of its owner, resulting in a home that is at once universally appealing yet also entirely original. Susanne directs the interior architectural design, furnishing, and finer decorative elements, creating a harmonious composition and relationship between all layers. Her projects are sprinkled throughout New York City, from uptown brownstones to downtown lofts.

With over a decade of top-tier design firm experience, she has an extensive portfolio ranging from the Warby Parker headquarters to Bobby Flay’s personal residences. Additional noteworthy properties and projects she has worked on include Jim Henson’s “Muppet Mansion” on Park Avenue & 69th St, Avra Madison, Forbes offices, Moxy hotels, and private homes for music, fashion, technology and financial executives and entrepreneurs. She is a sought-after instructor of Interior Design and recognized for her design leadership as an adjunct professor at FIT.

When not designing, Susanne is likely grabbing a coffee, visiting a local museum, attending a live theater performance, heading to a comedy show, or perusing around Manhattan’s west side with her husband and their miniature dachshund.
