Mari and Susanne, interior designers specializing in high-end residential projects, first crossed paths while sharing office space at the design incubator A/D/O in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. From the moment they met, they connected —both personally and stylistically. As their careers progressed and they continued to exchange ideas, experiences, and professional aspirations, the idea of collaborating together felt like a natural next step.
Mari and Susanne offer a dynamic blend of skills that make their collaboration stand out. Mari, with her extensive experience in luxury custom interiors, emphasizes modern elegance and custom furniture design. Susanne brings a sense of warmth to her projects, often featuring custom millwork that adds richness and character to a space.
After many years of practicing interior design in Greenwich, Mari has recently relocated to the Catskills, where she now specializes in consulting on design direction and material selection. She also thrives as the team liaison, managing task distribution and fostering seamless collaboration within the team. Susanne, in addition to her design expertise, enjoys working closely with clients and excels at master planning large-scale projects, creating a framework so they can be executed smoothly and efficiently.
Together, Mari’s refined aesthetic and Susanne’s warm, detail-oriented approach combine to create interiors that are both visually stunning and expertly executed.

Mari founded Mari B Interiors in Greenwich in 2016, quickly earning a reputation for creating elegant, timeless spaces. In 2017, she partnered with Granoff Architects as lead designer on The Modern on Field Point, one of Greenwich’s first luxury condo developments. Several buyers of these exclusive units enlisted Mari to design their interiors, launching a series of ground-up collaborations followed by bespoke decor projects.
Her portfolio includes notable properties like a townhouse on Elm Street and a custom home on Grahampton Lane, where her attention to detail and seamless integration of architecture and design shine through.
Now focused on designing a wellness retreat and glamping space at her 50 acre horse farm in the Catskills, Mari is thrilled with the opportunity to collaborate with Susanne Fox.
After years training under some of the world’s best and brightest design talent in New York City and completing many successful residential and hospitality projects as a senior designer with Rockwell Group, Susanne opened her eponymous design firm Susanne Fox Design in 2017.
Her clients praise her ability to manage large scale projects while maintaining a high level of personal touch for each homeowner. Versatile in style, she enjoys layering one-of-a-kind details to reflect the uniqueness a home’s owner, resulting in spaces that are at once universally appealing yet also entirely original. Susanne directs the interior architectural design, furnishing, and finer decorative elements, creating a harmonious composition and relationship between all layers.
Over the course of her career, Susanne has been involved in the design of prestigious properties in Manhattan, Scarsdale, Montauk, Amagansett, and more. She is delighted to grow the business in Greenwich that Mari has begun.
